Historically its client base was composed mostly of North American quoted companies, but it has progressively expanded to include clients throughout the rest of the world.
Only a small part of the activities of the Dutch office is related to Dutch law and it therefore defines itself as being truly active in the field of international law as opposed to only applying the law of its home country to international transactions. Through a daily involvement with the laws of other countries, it has developed expertise which allows it to provide not just advisory services but also to put this advice in practice.
In addition to those matters where it acts as lead counsel, the office is frequently invited to act as co-counsel or special counsel in major international matters.
